Congratulations!
YOU were the Time Magazine 2006 person of the year
In fact the YOU, was referring to all of us. The reason YOU won person of the year was how user generated content on the internet has dramatically changed how content is viewed. A recent study from Forrester said that 63% of content read on the Internet by viewers under 24, was written by someone they know. All ages are using social media and user generated content has dramatically grown in popularity over the last few years.
We Want To Hear From You!
Many companies are scared to death to hear from their customers because someone may write something negative. That is why AdvancedMD’s move to create an open forum was a bold move for their customer base this year. Unveiled at their annual user’s conference in June, the forum has become a haven for free speech about the application and company. When asked about how he handles the public critics that may show up on the forums, Jim Pack, the CEO of AdvancedMD, responded:
“One thing we’ve always done is face criticisms and problems head-on – problems are an opportunity to get better, and our forums are just another avenue where we can find ways to improve, discover and develop solutions, and turn frustrated customers into raving fans. It’s also an important way we keep our pulse on what our clients need for future releases so that we can always stay ahead of the competition.”
AdvancedMD wants to take advantage of user generated content as a way to communicate with our customers. We have developed two channels for comments, the AdvancedMD forum and the AdvancedMD Blog.
AdvancedMD Blog:
The AdvancedMD Blog is an area where AdvancedMD can post articles about AdvancedMD, about the medical billing industry, associations, trade show news, etc. We welcome any comments about any of the post.
AdvancedMD Forum:
The AdvancedMD Forum can be found at http's://userforums.advancedmd.com/ and has tips on How to Get started, forum policies, and forum suggestions and request. Feel free to post any comments.
